Offline digital products on CD and flash drive had become an ignored part of the business with the belief from leadership that they would both go away. This belief lead to a lot of time supporting a product solution that was more stop gap solution than stand alone product.
With planning help from the lead developer the idea for a new offline product that could be delivered from the traditional physical products, such as CD or Flashdrive, as well as a downloadable solution was formed. This new product was simply called the desktop app and had an initial goal to replace the current stop gap solution with a stable digital product that could be built upon and enhanced unlike the existing product.
Project Responsibilities
Worked with lead developer for early planning of project and created initial mockup for project approval.
Met with leadership team and provided project benefits.
Created final project design and developed custom CSS to match Adobe XD mockups. Worked with Material Design framework for base look and feel.
